Disabled people's mentoring project

Are you a disabled person living in the district of Shirebrook, Bolsover, Chesterfield or North East Derbyshire? Would you like to become a Mentor to support other disabled to lead independent lives?—Disability Derbyshire are delivering a free 3 day training course on Monday,23^rd, Wednesday 25^th and Friday 27^th January 2012.

If you are a disabled person who has overcome barriers to live a more independent life, your skills and life experience will be invaluable in helping other disabled people achieve their goals. You will find becoming a Mentor and giving peer support to other disabled people rewarding and it could open up a new job or volunteering opportunities as a Mentor or an Advocate
